Schools are closed in observance of Independence Day, a national holiday honoring the United States’ independence.
August 2024
August 8-9: New Teachers Only
Special orientation and training sessions for new teachers joining Roanoke County Schools to help them prepare for the school year.August 12, 15, 16: Teacher Service Days
Dedicated service days for all teachers to organize classrooms and complete administrative tasks.August 13, 14, 19: Professional Development Days
