School Year 2024-2025
First Day of School: Mark your calendars for Monday, August 12, 2024. It’s the official beginning of the school year, and students will return ready to learn.
Planning and Employee Days: Before school begins, teachers and staff have August 5-9, 2024 set aside for planning. These days are important for preparation, and students are not expected to attend.
Holidays: There will be several holidays when both schools and administrative offices are closed, including September 2, 2024 (Labor Day), November 11, 2024 (Veterans Day), and January 20, 2025 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day).
Breaks:
Thanksgiving Break: Schools will be closed from November 25-29, 2024, with administrative offices also closed from November 27-29, 2024.
Winter Break: Schools will be closed from December 23-31, 2024. Administrative offices will also be closed on selected dates.
Spring Break: Enjoy a break from March 24-31, 2025.
Last Day of School: The last day of school for students will be Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Teachers will have an additional planning day on June 4, 2025.
School Year 2025-2026 (To Be Announced)
The schedule for the 2025-2026 school year is still being finalized, but you can expect similar key events like the first day of school, holiday breaks, and planning days. Stay tuned for more updates!
School Year 2026-2027 (To Be Announced)
Similarly, the 2026-2027 school year details will be provided soon. Planning well in advance helps ensure everyone can make the most of their time off and prepare effectively for the school year ahead.
Important Notes
Severe Weather Make-Up Days: If needed, make-up days for severe weather will be scheduled on November 25-26, 2024, and March 31, 2025.
Interim Reports and Report Cards: Throughout the school year, interim reports and report cards will be issued to help keep students and parents informed about progress. For example, September 16, 2024 is when the first interim report will be issued, and January 31, 2025 is when the second-quarter report cards will be released.
