July 2024
- July 4 – Independence Day: Schools and administrative offices are closed in observance of this national holiday.
August 2024
- August 1 – Professional Development Day: Teachers and staff gather for training and preparation. No school for students.
- August 2 – Teacher Work Day: Another day dedicated to teacher preparation. No school for students.
- August 7 – First Day of School: The new academic year begins! Students report to school for the first day of classes.
September 2024
- September 2 – Labor Day: Schools and administrative offices are closed for the national holiday.
October 2024
- October 11 – End of 1st Quarter: The first grading quarter concludes.
- October 14 – Teacher Work Day: No classes for students, allowing teachers time to prepare for the next quarter.
November 2024
- November 11 – Veterans Day: Schools and offices are closed in honor of military veterans.
- November 25-29 – Thanksgiving Break: A full week off for students and staff to celebrate Thanksgiving. Schools and offices are closed.
December 2024 – January 2025
- December 20 – End of 2nd Quarter: The second grading quarter ends as students prepare for winter break.
- December 23 – January 1 – Christmas Break: Schools are closed for the winter holiday season. Classes resume in January after New Year’s Day.
January 2025
- January 20 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Schools and administrative offices are closed in observance of MLK Jr. Day.
March 2025
- March 3-5 – Mardi Gras / Presidents’ Day Break: Students and staff enjoy a break for Mardi Gras celebrations, which also overlaps with Presidents’ Day.
- March 14 – End of 3rd Quarter: The third grading quarter comes to a close.
- March 17 – Teacher Work Day: No classes for students as teachers prepare for the final quarter.
April 2025
- April 21-25 – Spring Break: Schools are closed for a well-deserved spring break, allowing students, families, and staff a chance to relax or travel.
May 2025
- May 22 – Last Day of School: The final day of the school year for students, marking the beginning of summer vacation.
- May 26 – Memorial Day: Schools and offices are closed in observance of this national holiday honoring fallen military members.
Additional Dates
